RESUMO

This study investigates the linguistic traits of fake news and real news. There are two parts to this study: text data and speech data. The text data for this study consisted of 6420 COVID-19 related tweets re-filtered from Patwa et al. (2021). After cleaning, the dataset contained 3049 tweets, with 2161 labeled as 'real' and 888 as 'fake'. The speech data for this study was collected from TikTok, focusing on COVID-19 related videos. Research assistants fact-checked each video's content using credible sources and labeled them as 'Real', 'Fake', or 'Questionable', resulting in a dataset of 91 real entries and 109 fake entries from 200 TikTok videos with a total word count of 53,710 words. The data was analysed using the Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count (LIWC) software to detect patterns in linguistic data. The results indicate a set of linguistic features that distinguish fake news from real news in both written and speech data. This offers valuable insights into the role of language in shaping trust, social media interactions, and the propagation of fake news.

According to the public data collected from the Health Commission of Gansu Province, China, regarding the COVID-19 pandemic during the summer epidemic cycle in 2022, the epidemiological analysis showed that the pandemic spread stability and the symptom rate (the number of confirmed cases divided by the sum of the number of asymptomatic cases and the number of confirmed cases) of COVID-19 were different among 3 main epidemic regions, Lanzhou, Linxia, and Gannan; both the symptom rate and the daily instantaneous symptom rate (daily number of confirmed cases divided by the sum of daily number of asymptomatic cases and daily number of confirmed cases) in Lanzhou were substantially higher than those in Linxia and Gannan. The difference in the food sources due to the high difference of the population ethnic composition in the 3 regions was probably the main driver for the difference of the symptom rates among the 3 regions. This work provides potential values for prevention and control of COVID-19 in different regions.

BACKGROUND: We assessed the safety and immunogenicity of a core-shell structured lipopolyplex (LPP) based COVID-19 mRNA vaccine, SW-BIC-213, as a heterologous booster in healthy adults. METHODS: We conducted an open-labeled, two-centered, and three-arm randomised phase 1 trial. Healthy adults, who had completed a two-dose of inactivated COVID-19 vaccine for more than six months, were enrolled and randomized to receive a booster dose of COVILO (inactivated vaccine) (n = 20) or SW-BIC-213-25µg (n = 20), or SW-BIC-213-45µg (n = 20). The primary study endpoint was adverse events within 30 days post-boosting. The secondary endpoint was the titers of binding antibodies and neutralizing antibodies against the wild-type (WT) of SARS-CoV-2 as well as variants of concern in serum. The exploratory endpoint was the cellular immune responses. This trial was registered with http://www.chictr.org.cn (ChiCTR2200060355). FINDINGS: Between Jun 6 and Jun 22, 2022, 60 participants were enrolled and randomized to receive a booster dose of SW-BIC-213 (25 µg, n = 20, or 45 µg, n = 20) or COVILO (n = 20). The baseline demographic characteristics of the participants at enrollment were similar among the treatment groups. For the primary outcome, injection site pain and fever were more common in the SW-BIC-213 groups (25 µg and 45 µg). Grade 3 fever was reported in 25% (5/20) of participants in the SW-BIC-213-45µg group but was resolved within 48 h after onset. No fatal events or adverse events leading to study discontinuation were observed. For secondary and exploratory outcomes, SW-BIC-213 elicited higher and longer humoral and cellular immune responses than that in the COVILO group. INTERPRETATION: SW-BIC-213, a core-shell structured lipopolyplex (LPP) based mRNA vaccine, was safe, tolerable, and immunogenic as a heterologous booster in healthy Chinese adults. FUNDING: Shanghai Municipal Government, the Science and Technology and Economic Commission of Shanghai Pudong New Area, and mRNA Innovation and Translation Center of Shanghai.

Background: Characterized by rapid transmission but lower severity, the new Omicron wave brought about an acute increase in local corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases in Shanghai, followed by stricter infection prevention and control strategies. Inevitably, more time was required for emergency consultation and treatment of children with critical illnesses. Therefore, a multidimensional approach was designed to streamline the emergency service and reduce the incidence of nosocomial infection of sever acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) during the Omicron wave for the emergency department (ED) at the Children's Hospital of Fudan University (CHFU). Methods: A multidimensional approach was implemented in the ED to help achieve a balance between the demand for emergency services and pandemic control, consisting of ED layout adjustment; electronic screening (E-screening) measures; standard management processes for patients, medical staff, and goods transfer; reliable disinfection measures; and a surveillance system for infection prevention and control. To evaluate the effect of the management strategy, the data on nosocomial infection cases and occupational exposure episodes among staff in the ED were collected. The demographic and clinical characteristics of level I/II children by the five-level pediatric triage tool and their mean duration of stay in the resuscitation room were collected. Results: There were 12,114 ED visitors from March 1 to May 31 in 2022, among which 53.24% were medical emergencies (6,449/12,114) and 46.76% were surgical emergencies (5,665/12,114). Twenty-nine patients were sent to the buffer zone, four of whom were transferred to the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) because of the critical situation. Six patients tested positive for COVID-19 after entering ED, including three in the buffer zone and three in the ED clinic, causing a temporary closure of the ED for disinfection. There were no reports on medical care delays, unintended deaths, staff with COVID-19 infection, or occupational exposures to COVID-19. Conclusions: Our findings highlight the effectiveness of the multidimensional approach, which can simultaneously meet the emergency care needs of patients as well as pandemic prevention and control. However, the results were obtained against the proportional decrease in clinic visitors due to the Shanghai lockdown. Dynamic assessment and further optimization may be adopted to cope with the pre-pandemic visit volume.

AIMS: To describe the home care experience, challenges and coping strategies of caregivers with children on automatic peritoneal dialysis (PD) in mainland China during the early stage of the COVID-19 outbreak. DESIGN: A qualitative descriptive approach was adopted. Semi-structured telephone interviews were conducted among 14 families with children on automatic peritoneal dialysis from February 2nd to 10th, 2020. The care routine, stress and coping strategies of caregivers of children on peritoneal dialysis were collected. The data were analysed using thematic analysis. METHODS: Four key themes were defined: (1) concerns about PD treatment intertwined with worries about COVID-19; (2) retaining a sense of normality in the middle of the challenges; (3) staying safe; and (4) staying positive and carrying on. RESULTS: Families with children on automatic PD addressed the stress from COVID-19 and its containment measures by closely adhering to COVID-19 preventative measures, actively adjusting mentality and maintaining a sense of normality during the outbreak. This implies that healthcare staff need to be more aware of the complex medical needs of families with children on automatic PD, advocate for them and facilitate their navigation through the repurposed healthcare system.

BACKGROUND: Dementia and psychotropic medications are discussed as risk factors for severe/lethal outcome of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). We aimed to explore the associations between the presence of dementia and medication use with mortality in the hospitalized and discharged patients who suffered from COVID-19. METHODS: We conducted an open-cohort observational study based on electronic patient records from nine geriatric care clinics in the larger Stockholm area, Sweden, between February 28, 2020, and November 22, 2021. In total, we identified 5122 hospitalized patients diagnosed with COVID-19, out of which 762 (14.9%) patients had concurrent dementia and 4360 (85.1%) were dementia-free. Patients' age, sex, baseline oxygen saturation, comorbidities, and medication prescription (cardiovascular and psychotropic medication) were registered at admission. The hazard ratios (HRs) with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) of in-hospital, 30-day, 90-day, 365-day post-discharge, and overall mortality during the follow-up were obtained. Then, the associations of dementia and medication use with mortality were determined using proportional hazards regression with time since entry as a time scale. RESULTS: After adjustment, dementia was independently associated with 68% higher in-hospital mortality among COVID-19 patients compared to patients who were dementia-free at admission [HRs (95% CI) 1.68 (1.37-2.06)]. The increase was consistent post-discharge, and the overall mortality of dementia patients was increased by 59% [1.59 (1.40-1.81)]. In addition, the prescription of antipsychotic medication at hospital admission was associated with a 70% higher total mortality risk [1.70 (1.47-1.97)]. CONCLUSIONS: The clinical co-occurence of dementia and COVID-19 increases the short- and long-term risk of death, and the antipsychotics seem to further the risk increase. Our results may help identify high-risk patients in need of more specialized care when infected with COVID-19.

Given the high importance of the performance of rural homestays to the local economy, this study aims to fill the gap in homestay performance research and make rural homestays more competitive and sustainable after the coronavirus disease epidemic (COVID-19). Integrating a consistent linguistic fuzzy preference relations-based analytic network process (CLFPR-based ANP) and a fuzzy technique for order performance by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS), this study constructs a comprehensive evaluation model of the performance of rural homestays and empirically analyzes homestay performance in Zhejiang. The results show the following: (1) Among the criteria's weights by CLFPR-based ANP, homestay operation and management, service quality, and homestay geist and community co-prosperity should be given much more attention;the importance of factors regarding the environment and building of rural homestays is gradually weakening. (2) In light of ranking alternatives based on performance evaluation by fuzzy TOPSIS, the homestay with the optimal performance has been found, which practitioners can use as a benchmark. Therefore, the priorities of these criteria further deepen the understanding of the performance of rural homestays and underline the development direction for practitioners. Simultaneously, in terms of feasibility and reliability, the integrated approach comprises a beneficial attempt and becomes an effective evaluation tool for practitioners to improve effectiveness.

The study describing the process of discovery and source tracing of a native case of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) infection on Jan 2021, in Guangxi, China, to provide methodology for source investigation better in the future. Following the Epidemiological Investigation Plan for COVID-19 (version 7), information of the native COVID-19 case and related close contacts were collected. Real time reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction was performed to detect the nucleic acids of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2) in samples collected from the infection case, related close contacts, and the environment, combined with serum specific antibody detection. The positive nucleic acid samples were undergone whole genome sequencing, phylogenetic analysis and analyses of variation of amino acids. The whole genome sequence from the native case and the imported asymptomatic infected case from Indonesia containing 25 nucleotide mutation sites belong to L-Lineage European Branch II. 3. The imported asymptomatic case was the source of infection of this native case. The possible route of infection was that native case was exposed to contaminated environment by imported case, due to improper personal protective equipment. A focus on local outbreaks of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2-infected people from outside China is needed.

Tuberculosis (TB) is one of the world's deadliest infectious disease killers today, and despite China's increasing efforts to prevent and control TB, the TB epidemic is still very serious. In the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, if reliable forecasts of TB epidemic trends can be made, they can help policymakers with early warning and contribute to the prevention and control of TB. In this study, we collected monthly reports of pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB) in Guiyang, China, from January 1, 2010 to December 31, 2020, and monthly meteorological data for the same period, and used LASSO regression to screen four meteorological factors that had an influence on the monthly reports of PTB in Guiyang, including sunshine hours, relative humidity, average atmospheric pressure, and annual highest temperature, of which relative humidity (6-month lag) and average atmospheric pressure (7-month lag) have a lagging effect with the number of TB reports in Guiyang. Based on these data, we constructed ARIMA, Holt-Winters (additive and multiplicative), ARIMAX (with meteorological factors), LSTM, and multivariable LSTM (with meteorological factors). We found that the addition of meteorological factors significantly improved the performance of the time series prediction model, which, after comprehensive consideration, included the ARIMAX (1,1,1) (0,1,2)12 model with a lag of 7 months at the average atmospheric pressure, outperforms the other models in terms of both fit (RMSE = 37.570, MAPE = 10.164%, MAE = 28.511) and forecast sensitivity (RMSE = 20.724, MAPE = 6.901%, MAE = 17.306), so the ARIMAX (1,1,1) (0,1,2)12 model with a lag of 7 months can be used as a predictor tool for predicting the number of monthly reports of PTB in Guiyang, China.

Objectives: The hepatitis B vaccine comprises hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) produced by transgenic yeast cells. There are few serious adverse events (SAE) reports after Hepatitis B vaccination. Methods: The authors searched the Chinese legal documents database for all SAE with Hepatitis B vaccination from January 2010 to January 2022. Results: All seven patients received yeast-derived recombinant hepatitis B vaccine. Three cases of myocarditis (death), 2 cases of interstitial pneumonia (death), and 2 cases of encephalitis. The mean time of onset of SAE was 8.3 ± 4.3 h after vaccination. Conclusion: The mechanism of vaccine-induced myocarditis may come from immune protein reactions. Based on the experience of Hepatitis B vaccine adverse events, we present new insights into the mechanism of myocarditis caused by the COVID-19 vaccine.

COVID-19 is still unfolding, while many people have been vaccinated. In comparison to nucleic acid testing (NAT), antibody-based immunoassays are faster and more convenient. However, its application has been hampered by its lower sensitivity and the existing fact that by traditional immunoassays, the measurable seroconversion time of pathogen-specific antibodies, such as IgM or IgG, lags far behind that of nucleic acids. Herein, by combining the single molecule array platform (Simoa), RBD, and a previously identified SARS-CoV-2 S2 protein derivatized 12-aa peptide (S2-78), we developed and optimized an ultrasensitive assay (UIM-COVID-19 assay). Sera collected from three sources were tested, i.e., convalescents, inactivated virus vaccine-immunized donors and wild-type authentic SARS-CoV-2-infected rhesus monkeys. The sensitivities of UIM-COVID-19 assays are 100-10,000 times higher than those of conventional flow cytometry, which is a relatively sensitive detection method at present. For the established UIM-COVID-19 assay using RBD as a probe, the IgG and IgM seroconversion times after vaccination were 7.5 and 8.6 days vs. 21.4 and 24 days for the flow cytometry assay, respectively. In addition, using S2-78 as a probe, the UIM-COVID-19 assay could differentiate COVID-19 patients (convalescents) from healthy people and patients with other diseases, with AUCs ranging from 0.85-0.95. In summary, the UIM-COVID-19 we developed here is a promising ultrasensitive biodetection strategy that has the potential to be applied for both immunological studies and diagnostics.

The multiplexed digital polymerase chain reaction (PCR) is widely used in molecular diagnosis owing to its high sensitivity and throughput for multiple target detection compared with the single-plexed digital PCR; however, current multiplexed digital PCR technologies lack efficient coding strategies that do not compromise the sensitivity and signal-to-noise (S/N) ratio. Hence, we propose a fluorescent-encoded bead-based multiplexed droplet digital PCR method for ultra-high coding capacity, along with the creative design of universal sequences (primer and fluorescent TaqMan probe) for ultra-sensitivity and high S/N ratios. First, pre-amplification is used to introduce universal primers and universal fluorescent TaqMan probes to reduce primer interference and background noise, as well as to enrich regions of interest in targeted analytes. Second, fluorescent-encoded beads (FEBs), coupled with the corresponding target sequence-specific capture probes through streptavidin-biotin conjugation, are used to partition amplicons via hybridization according to the Poisson distribution. Finally, FEBs mixed with digital PCR mixes are isolated into droplets generated via Sapphire chips (Naica Crystal Digital PCR system) to complete the digital PCR and result analysis. For proof of concept, we demonstrate that this method achieves high S/N ratios in a 5-plexed assay for influenza viruses and SARS-CoV-2 at concentrations below 10 copies and even close to a single molecule per reaction without cross-reaction, further verifying the possibility of clinical actual sample detection with 100% accuracy, which paves the way for the realization of digital PCR with ultrahigh coding capacity and ultra-sensitivity.

BACKGROUND: COVID-19 highly caused contagious infections and massive deaths worldwide as well as unprecedentedly disrupting global economies and societies, and the urgent development of new antiviral medications are required. Medicinal herbs are promising resources for the discovery of prophylactic candidate against COVID-19. Considerable amounts of experimental efforts have been made on vaccines and direct-acting antiviral agents (DAAs), but neither of them was fast and fully developed. PURPOSE: This study examined the computational approaches that have played a significant role in drug discovery and development against COVID-19, and these computational methods and tools will be helpful for the discovery of lead compounds from phytochemicals and understanding the molecular mechanism of action of TCM in the prevention and control of the other diseases. METHODS: A search conducting in scientific databases (PubMed, Science Direct, ResearchGate, Google Scholar, and Web of Science) found a total of 2172 articles, which were retrieved via web interface of the following websites. After applying some inclusion and exclusion criteria and full-text screening, only 292 articles were collected as eligible articles. RESULTS: In this review, we highlight three main categories of computational approaches including structure-based, knowledge-mining (artificial intelligence) and network-based approaches. The most commonly used database, molecular docking tool, and MD simulation software include TCMSP, AutoDock Vina, and GROMACS, respectively. Network-based approaches were mainly provided to help readers understanding the complex mechanisms of multiple TCM ingredients, targets, diseases, and networks. CONCLUSION: Computational approaches have been broadly applied to the research of phytochemicals and TCM against COVID-19, and played a significant role in drug discovery and development in terms of the financial and time saving.

INTRODUCTION: Adequate bowel preparation is key to a successful colonoscopy, which is necessary for detecting adenomas and preventing colorectal cancer. We developed an artificial intelligence (AI) platform using a convolutional neural network (CNN) model (AI-CNN model) to evaluate the quality of bowel preparation before colonoscopy. METHODS: This was a colonoscopist-blinded, randomized study. Enrolled patients were randomized into an experimental group, in which our AI-CNN model was used to evaluate the quality of bowel preparation (AI-CNN group), or a control group, which performed self-evaluation per routine practice (control group). The primary outcome was the consistency (homogeneity) between the results of the 2 methods. The secondary outcomes included the quality of bowel preparation according to the Boston Bowel Preparation Scale (BBPS), polyp detection rate, and adenoma detection rate. RESULTS: A total of 1,434 patients were enrolled (AI-CNN, n = 730; control, n = 704). No significant difference was observed between the evaluation results ("pass" or "not pass") of the groups in the adequacy of bowel preparation as represented by BBPS scores. The mean BBPS scores, polyp detection rate, and adenoma detection rate were similar between the groups. These results indicated that the AI-CNN model and routine practice were generally consistent in the evaluation of bowel preparation quality. However, the mean BBPS score of patients with "pass" results were significantly higher in the AI-CNN group than in the control group, indicating that the AI-CNN model may further improve the quality of bowel preparation in patients exhibiting adequate bowel preparation. DISCUSSION: The novel AI-CNN model, which demonstrated comparable outcomes to the routine practice, may serve as an alternative approach for evaluating bowel preparation quality before colonoscopy.

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: Acute lung injury (ALI)/ acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) was increasingly recognized as one of the most severe acute hyperimmune response of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). Clofazimine (CFZ) has attracted attention due to its anti-inflammatory property in immune diseases as well as infectious diseases. However, the role and potential molecular mechanism of CFZ in anti-inflammatory responses remain unclear. METHODS: We analyze the protein expression profiles of CFZ and LPS from Raw264.7 macrophages using quantitative proteomics. Next, the protective effect of CFZ on LPS-induced inflammatory model is assessed, and its underlying mechanism is validated by molecular biology analysis. RESULTS: LC-MS/MS-based shotgun proteomics analysis identified 4746 (LPS) and 4766 (CFZ) proteins with quantitative information. The key proteins and their critical signal transduction pathways including TLR4/NF-κB/HIF-1α signaling was highlighted, which was involved in multiple inflammatory processes. A further analysis of molecular biology revealed that CFZ could significantly inhibit the proliferation of Raw264.7 macrophages, decrease the levels of TNF-α and IL-1ß, alleviate lung histological changes and pulmonary edema, improve the survival rate, and down-regulate TLR4/NF-κB/HIF-1α signaling in LPS model. CONCLUSION: This study can provide significant insight into the proteomics-guided pharmacological mechanism study of CFZ and suggest potential therapeutic strategies for infectious disease.

Background: Paxlovid is recognized as an effective medication in preventing the progression of coronavirus disease of 2019 (COVID-19) to severe form in adults; however, its efficacy has remained unknown in pediatric cases. This study aimed to analyze the feasibility, safety, and efficacy of Paxlovid treatment in severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)-infected children aged 6-14 years. Methods: We conducted a cohort study based on prospectively collected clinical data. We recruited 5 pediatric cases with underlying diseases treated with Paxlovid from 7 April 2022 to 26 May 2022 and 30 age-matched patients with underlying diseases who were not treated with Paxlovid as controls. The safety and efficacy of Paxlovid were primarily assessed by inter-group comparisons. Results: Of the 5 Paxlovid-treated cases, including 1 male and 4 females, 3 and 2 cases were mildly and moderately ill, respectively. The underlying diseases included congenital heart defects, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, and leukemia. Only 1 patient had received 1 dose of an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine. Paxlovid was initiated within 5 days after the onset of symptoms in all cases. Comedications were used in 2 cases. In the safety analyses, after Paxlovid initiation, 1 patient had transient diarrhea, and 1 patient had transiently elevated liver enzymes [alanine transaminase (ALT), 125 U/L; aspartate transaminase (AST), 83 U/L; normal range, <40 U/L]. In the efficacy analyses, all 5 Paxlovid-treated cases recovered, with the respective viral shedding times of 11, 4, 10, 9, and 9 days. Compared with age-matched controls, the viral shedding times were not significantly different between groups. Conclusions: Based on the current small sample size study, Paxlovid is a feasible option for treating SARS-CoV-2-infected children aged 6-14 years with underlying diseases. However, the safety and efficacy of Paxlovid warrant further large-scale studies.

OBJECTIVE: To understand the use of online antenatal education classes accessed via the Mother and Child Health Handbook app during the COVID-19 pandemic in order to provide a basis and suggestions for optimizing Internet education during pregnancy under public health emergencies. METHODS: We compared and analyzed the use of online antenatal education classes via the Mother and Child Health Handbook app in Hangzhou in 2019 and 2020 (during the COVID-19 pandemic). RESULTS: Between January 1, 2019, and December 31, 2020, a total of 229,794 pregnant women created files and registered for the app, including 124,273 women in 2019 and 105,521 women in 2020. More pregnant women participated in online antenatal education learning (n = 36,379/34.5% vs. 29,226/23.5%, p = 0.000) in 2020 than in 2019. The proportion of pregnant women in the 18-34-year-old group who participated in online learning was higher than that in the advanced age group, and the difference was statistically significant (2019: 24.3% vs. 18.8%, p = 0.000) (2020: 35.7% vs. 27.4%, p = 0.000). More pregnant women accessed online antenatal education during early pregnancy (n = 13,463/37.0% vs. 9088/31.1%, p = 0.000) in 2020 than in 2019. Similar percentages of pregnant women participated in online antenatal education during mid-pregnancy (n = 15,426/52.8% vs. 19,269/53.0%, p = 0.639) in 2019 and 2020. Fewer pregnant women accessed online antenatal education during late pregnancy (n = 10,246/28.2% vs. 9476/32.4%, p = 0.000) in 2020 than in 2019. Fewer pregnant women choose to take 'Puerperal Health' courses in 2020 than in 2019 (early pregnancy: 36.20% vs. 42.79%, p = 0.000; mid-pregnancy: 41.65% vs. 48.19%, p = 0.000; late pregnancy: 55.31% vs. 58.41%, p = 0.000). Fewer pregnant women choose to take 'Psychological Adjustment' courses in 2020 than in 2019 (early pregnancy: 21.59% vs. 29.60%, p = 0.000; mid-pregnancy: 26.20% vs. 40.50%, p = 0.000; late pregnancy: 12.79% vs. 42.53%, p = 0.000). More pregnant women choose to study 'Nutrition and Exercise' in 2020 than in 2019 (early pregnancy: 44.48% vs. 25.95%, p = 0.000; mid-pregnancy: 47.77% vs. 40.75%, p = 0.000; late pregnancy: 55.94% vs. 42.99%, p = 0.000). "Pregnancy Care and Fetal Development" was the most selected course by pregnant women in early pregnancy (2019: 67.50%; 2020: 71.39%) and middle pregnancy (2019: 67.01%; 2020: 82.05%), and the proportion in 2020 was higher than it was in 2019. "Baby care" was the most selected course by pregnant women in late pregnancy, and the proportion in 2020 was higher than it was in 2019 (78.31% vs. 72.85%). CONCLUSION: During the COVID-19 pandemic, online antenatal education was well-used by pregnant women. More women participated in the online antenatal education modules during the COVID-19 pandemic than during 2019.The proportion of choosing different courses for pregnant women before and after the COVID-19 epidemic varied, and the learning course needs of pregnant women in different trimesters were different.

To evaluate China's current rifampin-resistant tuberculosis (RR-TB) screening strategy from stakeholders' perspectives, the perceptions, attitudes, and interests of 245 stakeholders from three eastern, central, and western China provinces on RR-TB screening strategies, were investigated through stakeholder survey and interview. The attitudes toward three RR-TB screening strategies were statistically different: inclination to choose who to screen (Z = 98.477; P < 0.001), funding for rapid diagnostic technology screening either by reimbursed health insurance or directly subsidized financial assistance (Z = 4.142, P < 0.001), and respondents' attitude during RR-TB screening implementation levels (Z = 2.380, P = 0.017). In conclusion, RR-TB screening scope could be expanded by applying rapid diagnostic technologies. Provinces with different economic status could adjust their screening policies accordingly.
